Thursday, January 23, 2003 Summer and I have decided to join Alpha Phi Omega. Don't freak out. It's a co-ed service fraternity that's community service based. Their principles are leadership, friendship, and service. I'm pleased to know that I am doing well on most all of my New Year's Resolution except for reading for fun daily. I think I need to pick one or two days a week to do it for 30 minutes to an hour. Summer and I have been getting up two hours before class every day to go exercise. I've cut back a lot on sugary salty snacks and soda. Summer and I do devotionals together and pray every morning and bible study every night. I'm taking the time to write one hand written letter a month, and I wanted to join one new organization and that's APO.
