Wednesday, July 13, 2005 So, it's another slow day at the office. My poor supervisor is having the worst of luck. First her husband's car broke down... got it fixed, but they had just finished paying it off. Cars always break down when you just get over making car payments. Then she got sick... summer cold, I think... so she went home early yesterday. On top of all that, she calls in today. Not only is she sick, but her father (who lives two houses down from her)-- his house caught on fire last night. Poor, poor thing. Hopefully she will be in tomorrow. I still don't know whether or not I should call Jay. I just keep running through the whole encounter in my mind. What happened yesterday -- what happened in the past.
